The Axe & Compass in Heath Reach is a charming pub in the heart of South Bedfordshire. Only 2 minutes from the A5 we serve good cask ales, freshly home cooked food, quality drinkable wines and have a fantastic beer garden with an extensive children’s play area.

We feel the pub is a place for people to meet, eat, drink and chat in a relaxed informal atmosphere. Families very welcome. Having a party? We can help you celebrate with free room hire and party planning.

We also have a separate lodge with 8 bedrooms which are available for bed and breakfast 7 days a week. Long and short terms lettings available.
